Customize your travel insurance plans this season

As you are planning your summer break this year and packing your baggage, don’t forget to purchase your travel insurance plans. Read through the coverage details carefully and feel free to customize your plan as you would like. Here is a list that you may choose to include:

  • Pre-existing Condition Coverage – An optional benefit that can cover up to $150,000 medical care costs. You must be eligible for your pre-existing medical conditions.
  • Trip Cancellation – This plan can reimburse your travel costs if your trip gets canceled before departure due to any of the covered risks including bad weather, natural calamities, etc.
  • Trip Interruption – This reimburses travel costs if your plans are disrupted while you are on the trip due to any of the covered risks.
  • Baggage Insurance – Baggage insurance is a necessary item in your plan. This plan covers the loss, damage or theft of your baggage, personal items or currency during your travel.
  • All-Inclusive Holiday Package for Canadians – The package includes all plans like Travel Medical Insurance, Trip Cancellation or Interruption, Baggage Insurance, and Accidental Death/Dismemberment at a discounted premium.
  • Non-Medical Package – If you are not looking for a plan that includes medical insurance, this is a perfect package. It combines Trip Cancellation/Interruption, Baggage Insurance, and Accidental Death/Dismemberment at a discounted premium.
  • Rental Car Protection – A good plan to protect yourself from paying for any loss of, or damage to a rented or leased automobile for your travel.
  • Deductible – You can choose from a range of deductible options from $0 to $100,000 depending on your convenience. Higher deductibles always help you save more.
  • Extensions – You can get coverage for additional days of your travel for a one-time or annual insurance policy with an extension before you depart or even during your trip.
  • Top-Up – You can purchase top-up insurance plans that can provide optimum coverage if you already have a valid health insurance plan for your trip. These are to be purchased before you depart for your trip.
